Can't beat Spirit Airlines prices. Depending on dates, you can find flights for $45 roundtrip. I've done it and it's not bad at all!

google flights if you're in the US, and tripadvisor has a pretty good flight aggregator.

I look at Travelocity.com and the other main ones, like Expedia.com.
Both were substantially cheaper than Kayak.com (ironically it opened an Expedia popup that was cheaper)
I used to try Cheaptickets.com too

a few years ago i stopped using online places and have become a client of a travel agent. she's usually a bit more than online places, but if we need to change the schedule late in the game, i can have my wife call her up and it's all taken care of-
