makes me wonder, where did the word 'save' come from anyway.
and is it also a homonym in other languages like it seemingly is in the english language? i don't think when they came up with save they meant 'protect' or 'rescue'.. or did they?

people would say " save that file for me so I can check it later" in offices back when there were jobs.
