I need to be able to record some cutting and scratching from a vocal track .wav
I don't have cdj's/serato/traktor
But I do have an iPad and have BabySkratch and also Algoriddim's DJay.Both do scratching pretty well and it sounds OK.
I was wondering if anyone's ever done tests to find out which gives the more accurate representation of scratch sound. It's the quality of the record moving sound that i'm really on about and not the xfader/cut. I have an old dj mixer in a cupboard that I can hook up for that.
Anyone know of any Scratch apps that are better than DJay/BabyScratch?

uan,
I can't justify buying a decent direct drive turntable purely for this track.

maybe just sample something. don't think u will find anything ipad that will give you a scratch sound worth creating, better to sample and tweak the sound, chop it up etc

oh wait...sorry just read its for a vocal track. good luck, I would record it in algoriddim/DJ then cut it up in either garage band or whatever you use. I use beatmaker2 its tits
