Any recommendations for a reasonably priced Bourbon?
I know nothing about it, but am picking up a bottle for a party tomorrow.

- yes, love this. But at $50/bottle, it's a bit much.threadpost
- you apparently never buy bottle service in a club? $50 is cheap.sublocked
- I made the mistake of "bottle service" 1x @ club in Copenhagen. 4 of us chipped in on a bottle of smirnoff ($15@store) it = $1000USD.threadpost
- it was 1000USD/5700DKR. Fuck that. bottle service is for idiots who think they belong in a rap video or on Entourage.threadpost
- bad kerning on home monitor. "Smirnoff" look like "Smimoff".

cizo brings up a good point. In case you are wondering what differentiates bourbon from other liquors, there are multiple requirements that must be met before the beverage can carry the name.
• It has to be produced in the United States
• It has to have a grain bill that consists of at least half corn
• It has to be aged for a minimum of two years in a brand-new charred oak barrel at a strength of 125 proof
• The finished beverage can be diluted to nothing weaker than 80 proof
