Yeah...I just spent like 12 hours playing this. I didn't sleep last night either.

I've been struggling with console or PC. I think I am going PC. Bethesda has just such BUGGY releases that it's nice to have community mods and patches to fix the crap Bethesda won't.

I just hit 100 hours. I got the game well after release and don't have a ton of time to play so that's spread out over a couple months.
The game is ridiculously good. I'm playing the PS3 version and it's running fine. It was probably smart to wait to get it so they had some time to work out the bugs. There were a couple quest glitches but nothing major.
The game is just so damn addictive, and after playing through FF13, I dont think Ill ever play another FF game again. They fucking suck compared to this.

I havent stopped playing in close to 72 hours (I had Friday off :) ) – mind = blown.

I now do this full time, my job is just a hobby I have.

Level 21, and I'm "already" about to face Alduin (for the first time)... Think I'll focus on doing side quests for a while. I hear the main quest line is very short.

Yeah I'm spending time not even doing quests just upping my smithing.

Tossing up... Uncharted 3 or Skyrim? Any suggestions? I have never played an Elder Scrolls game before, but a bit worried I might get a bit lost with all the states/powerups etc? Can you just play this game without having to constantly go to menus and adjust your levels and whatnot?
- yes, they've made it xbox dumb basicly, but fun ;)Weyland

Agreed. I fucking love this game. Though now that i'm about level 40 - shit isn't quite hard enough anymore. Trolls and dragons are no longer the terrifying experience they once were. I'll have to adjust the difficulty i guess. I'm still only about 3/4 through the story.
I'm wondering if Elder Scrolls online will be worth checking out.

So I installed it, detected my video card settings and set to Ultra. Runs like crap. I set it to High, still not good. I'm still on XP (Bootcamp). Will Win7 64 make a difference in the game performance? I don't want to spend the next 6 months thinking in buying a new machine just for this game... Any insights on how smooth it is for you guys?

Level 37 here now. Not really done the main quest line. Just thieves guild and dark brotherhood. Both were very good.

^ I'm on the same Eskema, bootcamp seems to slow things down anyway. 27" iMac here.
Best thing to do is set it to ultra, then drop your anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering down to fairly low. If you're on a 27" imac, drop your resolution down to the 1920 (i think) one. That'll help too, you should be able to keep things like draw distance and fades at full.
