This should be great. Now not only do we all have to listen to every self obsessed idiot talking on their cell phone everywhere, now we have to listen to them talk to their damn phones!
"Siri, siri, who's the fairest of them all..."

Anyone thinks it will be good?

I'm sold with the demos of just setting an alarm, a timer, a reminder with voice. And that's just the beginning.
I'll have to wait until iPhone 5 to have it though.

I'm pretty skeptical of most of the demos I must admit. They're all rehearsed a million times so anything you saw at the launch was well and truly scripted and guaranteed to give the desired results.
Hope I'm wrong, but I've never been a fan of most VR stuff.

I hate VR but I must regognize that some things could be cool, the robotic voice sound it´s creepy though

Just got a new iPhone 4S... and it does not recognise any businesses in Australia - only the US. Considering it uses location services, I think this is a bit of a let-down. How am I going to find pubs when I leave the house drunk??

Not going to lie since getting the phone I've use siri quite a bit. Sure there are some kinks and I've never really cared for those voice control things but this works very well. Remember everyone this is just a BETA. Skynet here we come!

i just read that Siri is a dude in the UK, is this accurate?
- duh,
it's a middle eastern countrygeorgesIII - really, the UK would worry about such trivial things in their own land?idiots

I've used it a couple of times myself for dumb things that I never did before I knew there was a voice command available before, but only if I'm alone. It's so embarrasing to use siri that I don't even use it in front of my girl for fear she would just yell:
YOU ARE SUCH A DOUCHEBAG!
the only time I've used it, is when someone asks me to ask something to siri to try it out, no matter what they ask it always does seems like siri's response is:
Now calling (insert name of client that does not need to be woken up at 3 am in the morning, or maybe residing in finland which will cost a grip), and then I have to quickly cancel it before the call goes through.
After day 5 with the phone you will completely forget you can do voice commands, just like with any other phone you had that took voice commands too.
