Hey gang,
So I'm launching a tshirt site (because I've heard no one has done this yet) and I've been struggling for the past month to find a service to host the site as well as ecommerce functionality. I only have three or four designs, but I would like to have something more than just a shopping cart page. I'd like to have an actual fleshed out site with blog, about us, and more original content to offer.
•Shopify seems to be just a shopping cart page. •Magento Go seemed cool since they offer discount codes and lots of apps to make things easy. But requires css knowledge which I do not have. And when I tapped their web design partners they came back with quotes of $7,500?!
•etsy seems like a shopping cart page
•Big Cartel seems like a shopping cart page
•squarespace doesn't offer any ecommerce options (that I could find)Some advice I've received was to get one of these offshore outfits like elance to do it for $15/hr? Something seems off about that place tho.
If you've read this entire post THANK YOU and any help would be greatly appreciated.
