I can't seem to find anything on this!

Sensor is tiny, might be fun compact cam novices, but the likes of the s95 lx5 xz1 have a versatile enough lens.
Still its progress and competition, which is great.
Check out the pentax Q too.

I do like that view finder though, 1.4 million dots is very high res.

I like the design of them, look pretty cool. and hopefully a manufacturer like nikon will get it all right the first time round.
They seem kinda cool for non-serious daylight shooting, but no shallow depth of field with that little sensor. They would need the likes of 1.2 lens (which wont be cheap) to get some shallow DOF.

wow, some comparison shots on imaging resource.
http://www.imaging-resource.com/…J1 iso 1600
http://www.imaging-resource.com/…GH2 iso 1600
http://www.imaging-resource.com/…j1 iso 3200
http://www.imaging-resource.com/…GH2 iso 3200
http://www.imaging-resource.com/…I think the J1, looks very impressive.
Smaller sensor, but the 100% crops are fairly similar to the GH2 in terms of noise, but the GH2 has a much bigger image, so naturally when scaled to the same the GH2 will look much better. The m43 pen mini was also better than the Nikon J1.Very impressive work though nikon.
But when comparing the nikon ILC camera to the micro four thirds in terms of camera size -
You might as well get the m43 Olympus pen mini, larger sensor, so better depth of field, better high iso. more accessories.
But its early days. I look forward to some reviews.
