I guess I am. I never understood the need to buy a whole new setup/board/matching jump suit every season though. Especially considering the fact that the average snowboarder only rider 8 times a year according to transworld.
- I got in 15 days last year. Glad to be better than average. :)mg33
- i got 35. but i live in colorado and love sitting in traffic.refunktion

I'm doing a bit of driving around this fall in the pacific northwest from Oct 23-November 17th in an RV. I have a chance to go through Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Colorado. But, I've never been to any of those states. I can't believe I never really thought about packing my board until right now.

Doing a round the world trip next year, and hoping to get a full season in somewhere... or at least a month or two. I'm thinking of maybe getting a van in Argentina, doing some some snowboarding and snowkiting, then slowly making my way north to warmer climes and doing a few months of of kitesurfing.
Anyone done anything like this or got any advice?

I'm stoked for the Season.
Just bought my new stick I was torn between the Burton Custom Flying V or Lib Tech C2btx.They are basically the same board but after watching The Art of Flight I went with the Lib Tech! T.Rice is the man.
I like to bomb and go big with the occasional jibbing and park stuff so it seemed liked the right choice. Might be going to Park City Utah this winter as opposed to Killington VT.cant forget I also got a pair of these babies!

Who's Seen The Art of Flight? The trailer has a bunch of footage that doesn't appear in the film. I bet they have hours of awesome stuff they couldn't put in. You think they'll release an extended cut? I hope so.

last season I rehabbed my kitchen and bathroom and only went to the mountain once, and it rained on me. This season I have a new born son so I will probably be going up less, meaning none. Playing grown up really sucks sometimes.
- make time, i have a son, jobs, 100 year-old-house renos for 9 years... make the time. first thing sundays...prophetone
- pre-plan outings, because the killer when you become an 'adult' is the ability to do things on the fly.... be safe out thereprophetone
