- Like I said from the beginning. Go back and check my comments. G-men, you said no, I said YES!!!panacea
- Noone truly believed they could do it with how they looked. They were pretty bad during the season.CygnusZero4
- Only natural to think that bad teams cant get it done. But I still watched every game.CygnusZero4
- I have not missed a Giants game since 1989!CygnusZero4
- Nice! All I was pointing out, it's a different game at the end of the year, barely get in (be road team throughout) and still win it all. It will happen with NYG.panacea
- Gonna' happen with the Giants, similar to Steelers a few ago.panacea
- Trust me I know the playoffs is a whole different ball game. I just look at things realistically.CygnusZero4
- Midseason this did NOT look like a SB team.CygnusZero4
- But the hot teams find a way, Steelers in 06, Giants in 07, Pack last year, Giants this year.CygnusZero4
- yep dude, seems to be a trend of a trend hehepanacea
- I SAYYYYYYYYY YES!!! hehepanacea

And. it's going to be a repeat of Super Bowl XLII.
Peyton whom?
Eliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii...

Listening to the Freakonomics Podcast, they're discussing home field advantage, and they've found it has nothing to do with sleeping in your own bed or familiarity with the field, etc. It has a lot more to do with the fact that officials generally speaking make calls for the home team. SB is up for grabs, but I wonder if Peyton's lil brother Eli might get a few calls being that it's a Colt town. They're talking about it now.

This one is really hard to call Pats are 2.5 pt favorites, yet Giants won during the season , Im a fan of the game so I will not be rooting for anyone , just for a good game. Yet if history tells us anything this year is if you won in the regular season matchup, you loose the Playoff Game (Pack, 9ers both beat NYG in reg sea) so I say Pats 27-23

As always, I'm throwing down 1K on the underdog to cover. I usually win, but...

The Pats are known to really struggle with teams built like the Giants. To the point where the Giants beat their best team in the SB, beat them 3 out of the last 4 preseason games, and beat them this season, when the Giants werent even that good.
The Pats have no deep threat like Randy Moss, and Gronk is hurt, wont be 100% for the game. Their running game isnt very impressive, and their D is average at best.
I honestly think the Giants are better in every possible way. If they won by 13 it really would not surprise me, but its the NFL, anything can happen of course.
- G-men!!!panacea
- Actually, the Ravens kicked the shit out of them and if not for two lucky breaks, I'd be placing bets on Baltimore.panacea
- Teams with tough D's are like kryptonite to the Pats. They really struggle badly.CygnusZero4
- Baltimore had them, soooooooooo lucky. You're right...panacea
- baltimore screwed up as bad as NE - that game was ugly on both sides... nobody deserved to win that matchPonyBoy

Congrats on that 1k. Nice payday! It was awesome man. Ive been a Giants fan since '89 and this is the best time to be a fan. Even more than 2007, this SB win was the mostly unlikely Ive ever seen by any team. To go from 9-7 to champs has never been done before.

Hard to repeat, but the Giants actually could. Has to really suck to be a Philly, Dallas or Skins fan today. Howdy'a like them apples, huh? hehehheh
The AFC is starting to come back down the Earth, but I see a team like the Bengals, don't laugh, that could be very, very dangerous next year, another good first round pick and watch the FUCK out...!
That's my early prediction.
- Predict Superbowl XXIII rematch. http://en.wikipedia.… SF versus Cincypanacea

NFL 2011 finally over

Coughlin is definitely a hard nosed old school coach. Get to the meetings 5 minutes early. If you're late you get fined and even benched for an entire game. Always on the chopping block if his team loses 3 or 4 in a row, but it's NY. It's the toughest sports city in the world. After this though he'll be fine for another few years, if he chooses to stick around that long. He's pretty old now.
- Yeah, he's come a long way from his Jacksonville days, that's for sure. Anyway, good on him, he deserves it!panacea
