Our neighbour has one. It's beautiful, really chilled out and quite large compared to normal cats.

one of my favorite animal friends is Ivan the Maine Coon. He's a bad ass but very mellow for a cat that size.

Very smart cats. Very dog-like. Can learn some basic words like "no", and head movements like shaking your head means no without saying the word, they will play fetch with you, will form a strong bond with their owner and are very human like in some ways, when you speak to them they will look as you as if they are trying to understand what you're trying to communicate to them.
Best cats in the world, also hard to find and expensive.
