Best chair for a better posture?

I sit at a big desk for much of the day.
Any suggestions for a comfortable chair that is good for posture?
Would prefer not to spend over $300.

If you can, the best thing to do is vary your posture throughout the day rather than relying nice chair. It may be worth looking at a height adjustable desk, one that allows you to stand and sit, rather than a chair.

Who sits in a chair these days? The hip thing to do is stand up all day, like you work in a petrol station.

It's similar to running in cushiony sneakers vs. bare feet. With sneakers you don't develop any strength in your ankle/foot muscles and so you are more prone to injury.
And with all these modern office chairs - with over the top cushioning and support, the same happens to your back.
So you are better off getting a chin-up bar:
