except for the part about destroying public property and your fellow man's tax dollars. Generally, that's where riots end.

^ 100% true.
Anyways, Bukowski has some nice quotes.

^ if your life is entirely yours -with or without kids- you are selfish and (quite possible) lonely.

I am sure this film would have reached me more before I got kids... :) My life isnt entirely mine anymore...

What a good line, "The god's wait to delight in you."

Who is narrating? I've heard this voice before...was it Chrysler ad "Imported from Detroit?"
Regarding the ad - it is well filmed.

the promo is well filmed, but I can see plenty of space for memes being born with the graphic/billboard campaign.

It's a nice ad, but what bad luck timing.
Levi's newest ad, launched on Tuesday, shows kids at a demonstration, facing up to a line of riot police, among sundry images of youthful intellectual and creative flowering.
"Your life is your life, don't let it be clubbed into dank submission, be on the watch," says the narrator, speaking the words of Charles Bukowski. "there are ways out, there is a light somewhere."
