I'm not even sure what you are talking about, I just agree with the title of the thread

d_rek need to d_check himself
No, really, College of Creative Studies and Cranbrook are fine design schools, plus there's plenty of talent and creativity in Detroit, no doubt about it. Not that this thread has anything to do with that... um.

fine be a rock star , but can you do good design and art?

it's interesting how long it takes for trends like that to die out, especially with all the backlash they receive. i blame recruiters.

Screw rockstar. I'm a design messiah!

Jesus was a rock star.

Plenty of rock stars in Detroit. I should know. I was working there the last two years. Almost 99% of them were all flash and no bang.

I guess I'm the only one who gets annoyed by people using "rock star" as a way to endorse someone. Rock star doesn't really mean anything except that the person writing the endorsement can't think of any redeemable, and quantifiable words to describe a person.

I'm using the networking app BranchOut on facebook to endorse a few agency people I enjoyed working with in Detroit. It appears that everyone is a "rock star" now. So I guess that means everyone is drunk for most of the day, they steal wives, abandon babies and are intrinsically narcissistic?
And, since we are visiting the nonsensical vocab of corporate monkeys, can someone please tell me what "jazzy" means?
