The reporters are desperate for someone to say that it's because of the community feeling disenfranchised and being put down and not given a shit about. But even the spokesmen for the community (ie not the politicians) are saying "nope... they're just fucking thugs taking an opportunity"

Man, I see these shitheads around all the time (I live about 2km from where the first incidents took place, and my local shopping centre got done in today) and they're just assholes. Most of them probably have more money to fritter away than I do, given they live wholly irresponsible lifestyles.
Yesterday up Green Lanes I could see the groups and types, hear them on their phones planning where and how they were going to meet and get up to last night.
I sound like the Daily Mail, I know, but really—we should just get fucking sharpshooters out and be done with it.
I'd genuinely not be surprised to see other groups of Londoners go out and start fighting these shitheads.
