it's NOTHING political. NOTHING social. As Projectile reports above, it's just dickhead youth being dickheads.
Man, I see these shitheads around all the time (I live about 2km from where the first incidents took place, and my local shopping centre got done in today) and they're just assholes. Most of them probably have more money to fritter away than I do, given they live wholly irresponsible lifestyles.
Yesterday up Green Lanes I could see the groups and types, hear them on their phones planning where and how they were going to meet and get up to last night.
I sound like the Daily Mail, I know, but really—we should just get fucking sharpshooters out and be done with it.
I'd genuinely not be surprised to see other groups of Londoners go out and start fighting these shitheads.
Not a lot of love out there today (just been out for a big cycle).
