Trying to figure out if this is a well built screen printing rig. Anyone knows anything about it?

not enough information there

ya, I was hoping someone would be familiar with it. I can't tell anything about the build quality.

would not beat a traditional rotary press, i googled a bit and overall forum comments about press-a-print are not encouring to say the least

I got one of these and it is solid if you buy the precut option.
Two/three evenings to assemble.

Here is a video that shows more of the Press a Print. The lady that is selling it wants $5000 for it.
Forward the video to minute 1:35What would be a good deal for this thing? What I like about it is that it does not occupy a lot of room.
Thanks.

I guess it depends what you want to do.
That would be ok for personal projects, but for any kind of production oriented project, that system is SO inefficient. You will want to shoot yourself.
You can buy a used manual 4 color and flash dryer for less than that thing and have your screens burned and reclaimed at a local shop.

for whats it's worth I have 12 18x24 neuman roller frames in excellent shape just sitting around if you want them.

$5000 ??? second hand ??
you can get a hopkins 4-colour / 4 station plus flash dryer plus exposure unit NEW for $3000
- Thank you d_gitale, That;s the reason I'm posting here.monoblanco
- I know very little about these rigs.monoblanco
- u r welcome, also dont forget that whatever press u go for you will need a conveyor dryer if you want to use plastisol inksd_gitale
- no you dont. flash dryer works.epigraph
- I guess it depends on the flash dryer, my experience is that in order to make it last for a maximum no. of wash cycles, a conveyor dryer is necessaryd_gitale
- conveyor dryer is best. but i personally prefer water based inks anyway - for handfeel.d_gitale

@epigraph even though a flash dryer actually dries plastisol inks, from my experience, to make the print last for a maximum number of wash cycles, a final conveyor dryer is best, but I guess it depends on the inks and the flash dryer in use. Could you share some more info about your set-up ? Which kit did u get from printingplans.com and what is your experience with it, what inks u use, etc.
That would be interesting - cheers !
