this was obviously an attempt to gain attention and he did succeed at that, for the wrong reasons, but got the attention.You go to bed thinking you kicked ass, and when he wakes up he reads all that, wow.. that sucks

I like the comments on that blog from people who think this is actually a real redesign, like this chick:
