^ i'd agree it has got to work well as phone first, which is why i didnt like my iphone 3gs.
It had the worst call quality of any phone i think Ive ever had. when i first got it and called my gf she asked "have you got poor signal or talking quietly?", others friends mentioned it and even my mum said i sound bad on it. this is with full network btw. It does lots of stuff great though, i just wasn't impressed with the call quality.
I'm not bas.hing it, nor do i aim to draw fan boys out of the shadows, i just personally found it to be the biggest problem.

I picked up the Galaxy S2 over the weekend and love it so far. It's my first "smart phone" as the kids call them, so I'm still figuring things out.
Need to root it to dump the preloaded crap apps. I'm not a Bell customer, why would I want their PVR remote thing?

HTC Eris (think it was discontinued right after I bought it). Functional, though a bit small. Next Feb. will upgrade.

Just picked up unlocked S2 from NewEgg.. $630.. I don't like buying phones on contract. I used S2 but now I got one for myself.
After using iPhone 3G, 3GS, 4 and Nexus One.. this is the the real phone I was waiting for.. 4G speeds, everything fantastic about it. Root and wipe that shit out and we are golden.
