yesterday I found one at a regular or medium weight, but the link is not working today. it was at:
http://peter-wiegel.kernest.com/…Anyway, I need one with regular/bold weights, any tips?
I've used FF Din for layout/client presentation, 100$ at FontFont to license it for web use, it's not much but it's kind of dumb since I already bought it for desktop use. My thanks go to any of you guys who knows a free one with both weights.

One might suggest checking the CSS at designmadeingermany.de/

"checking the CSS" = the new piracy

wow, I am really dumb.
nice content, too. I wonder if that is a state sponsored site or just some "proud to be german" guys doing it showing off.

Din looks pretty awful for web on Windows

hum, designmadeingermany.de messes the home page then goes "Starten Sie jetzt durch mit dem schnelleren Browser" when I was trying it on my windows IE7 virtual box. I think he's saying bad things about IE, but I can't disagree with him on that. Do you know another site where I can check DIN on IE? I am not planning on using it bellow 14pix.
- DIN "parent directory" otf OR ttf OR fonts -html -htm -download -linksMiesfan

Copy, and go to Google.

lol, nice technique Miesfan, I'm saving that google macro.
I was just wondering about what Boz said, that DIN spoils the Windows web browsing experience. I certainly don't want to alienate a big chunk of my users...
damn, designmadeingermany.de looks better on the iphone than on IE7.
- Boz is absolutely right. And yep,
better iphone/ipad...Miesfan
