best new web design books?

  So I know there have been threads on the best books to grab but I was wondering if anyone has bought any and have suggestions on what to buy or not buy.

  my current wish list is

  HTML5 and css3 (anyone buy the "book apart" books on this?)

  Android app development using html5 css3 and javascript

  IOS app development using html5 css3 and javascript

  also wondering if anyone has read ethan marcottes books on responsive design from "a book apart"

  any other tips or suggestions appreciated. going to hit up amazon asap for some new books.

  Nothing specific to your needs, but the only recent "web design/dev" books I've purchased were the Smashing Mag ones. Volume 1 and 2 are great.

  The List Apart Books are nice. Pretty quick read and some useful info.

  Andy Clarke's Hardboiled Web Design is nice too. Has a ton of information on css3 tricks.
