iPhone you only need the app from the appstore

With the new Nike+ App you don't need that sensor anymore.

iPhone's gps (and perhaps pedometer-like use of accelerometer) sorts this out for you so no need for the sensor anymore.

I use the nike sensor and an iPod nano. It works for me...I run maybe 7–10 miles a week. The nike+ site can be a bit wonky. If/when I decide to up my running game I will probably switch to the Adidas miCoach or a Polar wristwatch/running computer.

I find measuring gevery little thing when you start to excersise inhibits my focus

i used that setup before, i prefer the sportband.

do not link Nike+ to your facebook account!
I hate all my "friends" that update and post... "so and so just ran 5.25 miles using Nike+ while you sat in your dark room and masturbated eating cheetos and drinking beer... forever alone"

like akrok mentioned, I also use the sportband:
http://www.google.com/products/c…it works really well, and then you don't have to carry your clunky iphone with you...although it also works with the nano.
- < the setup that you mentioned also works with the nano to be clear.lvl_13

I dig the wristband. The battery in the pod is fine and has lasted 2000 miles so far. Waiting for it to die out, but just keeps on trekkin. +1 on not carrying around a nano or iphone. Too heavy and uncomfy... Running is uncomfortable as it is, then you add cables and crap. Bleh.

Running!
How does it work?!?!?!?!

bleh.. I love running, but have never bought into the nike+ thing. Call me old fashioned, but all you need is a pair of running shoes and a path.

welcome to the club, you are not officially accepted until you own multiple pairs of man tights.
