Seattle/Portland-where to go?

In Portland today-Sunday and then in Seattle Sunday-Thursday. What are some not-to-miss sites? Stores/food/parks/bars etc.
This is the first time I have been to either of these places, so any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Depends on where you are coming from, but a local fave bar is http://www.feierabendseattle.com… Spaten Optimator and other premium German / Austrian beers on tap. :)

for food its all about the food carts my friend

Tonight we ate at clydes common, and are now at common speakeasy. Portland is pretty great so far. Reminds me a lot of Minneapolis actually. maybe a little bit cooler, but it's still too early to tell.
