Twice a year the sun sets at an angle where you can see it set at the end of streets in Manhattan.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Man…It looks best at 42nd Street because of the Tudor Park overpass. I went to 34th Street but next time I'll go to 42nd Street. The last shot is on 42nd Street but it was over by then.

Sorry about the link.
http://goo.gl/lSyo1Next time I'll bring a tripod and shoot landscape instead of portrait. Live and learn.
- personally I like the lack tripod-ness, makes images come alive...adumbratesly

i dont get it. 99% of all the photos look the Manhattanhenge same. What's the big deal? Why would you want to shoot the same shot thousands of other people already have? How is that creative?
- it's snotdbloc
- **of all the Manhattanhenge photos look the same** Sorry, accidentally dragged some text.CanHasQBN
- lol, it's because it only happens twice a year...doesn't have to be creative at allmonospaced
- twice a year is a lot. and we've already got a million of these shots. it's so redundant. i would say Mission Accomplished.CanHasQBN
- damn...I've never even seen it bromonospaced
