About page on your portfolio site
What to put in them?
What do u find useful to mention?
And What definitely not to put in?

Stuff that you want people to know, that isn't covered or appropriate in your resume
Honestly, I probably wouldn't bother with an about page, but that's just me.

I don't see the need for a full about page if you have a CV/resume and your body of work.
At most you'd write a few paragraphs - Just have them as something that opens/closes with a bit of jQuery or something.

If you are going to have a Profile/About page, think of it as your covering note to a prospective employer. Same principle. Very - VERY - brief summary of your talents, skills and experiences and your awards, if you've got 'em.
Other than that, let your work and your CV do the talking for you.
