I'll be upgrading from this cheap ass costco chair soon. What do you have? I need something where my arms shoulders and back don't feel numb after a few hours of working. Any suggestions?

- not cheap mind you. but totally worth it if its comfy and works for you, for 9 hours a day.Hombre_Lobo
- < great choice if you have a budget of $650-850. unless your okay with used one. $350akrok

yeah i've sat in the aeron at the studio and my boy has the embody. the embody is so nice but really expensive :\ certainly helps to have the purchases during tax season though. i'm hoping there's comparable chairs without the HM prices
- best price i seen on that chair is on amazon.comakrok
- note. there's 3 sizes. A (smallest)
B, and C (largest)akrok - Get the Aeron's lounge baby http://www.creativer…pinkfloyd

Call up your local Herman Miller dealer and test-drive the chairs for a couple weeks. Our guy let us borrow a Mirra and an Aeron for a month and compare. After sitting our stinky asses in them for a month, we concluded that the Aeron wasn't $400 more comfortable. Ended up buying 2 Mirra's in white. Best furniture purchase I ever made. I can sit in this chair for hours and hours and never feel soreness or get swass.

i understand that standing is the way to go
- too much pressure on the knees i would have thought.Hombre_Lobo
- It is, but then you need to spend $300/year on good shoes.nb

I bought a Mirra about 6 months ago, and it's just so damn comfortable. I think the money is worth it considering you spend 8+ hours a day sitting and working.
