hello,
Im looking for some good examples of websites that use large canvases as opposed to individual pages, click & drag if you get me?
http://www.cooper.com/#about:exp…
isnt click & drag but is along the right lines

^ is click and drag supposed to work on that site?

cool effect, but it seems like a lot to load up front.

That front page is 4.5 megabytes. That's pretty heavy if you get any real traffic, but I would assume this site would never get big traffic. Also, the load sequence doesn't seem to restrict it's usage. It's neat, but I feel kind of lost navigating it.

That's a stupid front page size for people who are on a slow connection / internet dongle / 3G.
It'd be better if the initial image load was 2 colour gifs at lo-res (for effect) then once that page is brought into view, the images load then fade to colour. That site has a massive load up front but these large canvas sites have been done successfully before. Their url/name escapes me though sorry.
