Online banner advertising Gran Turismo 5 implements Google Street View.

interesting concept, but not quite there imo.

^indeed.
the low quality google map images and slow moving from shot to shot kinda kill it.
like you say, works in concept, not in practice.

I felt like I was missing something here. You should be able to hold down the arrows for continuous action instead of click, click, click.

oh that one is kinda weird. i want to do an aeriel view looking down gta style. my only drawback is figuring collision detection of the building, or basically locking the car to only drive in the streets.
- This doesn't really capture the excitement and realness of GT. I'm surprised it was approved.instrmntl

a little off subject but I've finally come to realization I hate gaming.
I waited years for GT5 to come out and I've only played it for about 2 hours total. Then last night I wanted to watch something on Netflix and I had to do yet another system update. Seems like overtime I want to watch something "on demand" I have to wait 15 minutes to update my PS3. As I was waiting I noticed my collection of 10-12 PS3 games and realize I hardly played any of them. What a waste of money...
end of rant, thanks for listening.

We had some Google reps in the office today. I only looked at this right after they left.

Documents from Tokyo Electric, the operator of the Japanese nuclear plants in crisis after Friday's devastating quake and tsunami, reveal that the company tested the Fukushima plant to withstand a quake up to magnitude 7.9. That threshold is well below the force of Friday's quake, recently upgraded to 9.0.
