So all my shapes in Illustrator are automatically being drawn at 45 degrees....so for example when I draw a square its already rotated and looks like a diamond!?
I have never had this happen before and I cant figure out how to fix it?
Someone please put me in my place...

hmm. could be something obvious, or just a bug. Maybe trash the prefs (if that even does anything these days)

try to double click your shape icon in the toolbar and see if a option box pulls up

Yeah i tried but it doesnt work..i forgot to mention that my direction keys are also moving everything in a diagonal direction instead of up, down, left and right.
This is bizzare...and it makes it bloody difficult to draw anything...
- did you run any updates? sounds like you got a bug from adobe. I would suggest a re-install.VikingKingEleven
- quit firefox too. That seems to cause bugs if you're using itVikingKingEleven

Go to ILLUSTRATOR > PREFERENCES > GENERAL
check Constrain angle....does it read 45 degrees?
set to zero
