There was a new UAP hearing today (Apr 29, 2025) detailing drones. Maybe they can tell us wtf this thing is...
April 21 was a really busy day. I'm still culling through images from that session. These two shots are from a burst of 10 frames. Two consecutive images taken 1/5th of a second apart. That is 0.2 seconds apart from each other. This object only appeared in two frames.
Never seen something like this.
- Also captured our typical fast-movers.
I've seen them fly in formation of 3 before in other people's video.futurefood - Sometimes they are seen tagging airliners as a pair of 2futurefood
- Could it be an out of focus fast-ass bat between tree and plane distance?prophetone
- haha possibly. I'm in So Cal, these were taken at 11:46:15 am. So it could be some rabid bat that lost its way :)futurefood
- This is interesting, I think I could build a pretty solid 1890mm f5.4 IR 8k rig out of things I have around the house if I buy a 850nm filter.slappy
- How many stops do you lose roughly for exposing for IR? Looking at your exif not that many.slappy
- Kolari have it on their site, 1-3 on a converted camera, 8-10 on an unconverted. Thats not going to work. I'll see If I can get a full spectrum camera.slappy
- @Slappy Experiment as much as possible with this. Yea, unconverted cameras will need a ton of light. I'm shooting at 135mm - 200mm at the longest...futurefood
- I often have to push to ISO1600 even in really bright sun. I've been trying to keep my SS highfuturefood
- cool thing about getting a full spectrum conversion is that you can get an OEM/Hot mirror filter to reverse the conversion and cut out IR/UV light.futurefood
- I got my camera converted by the team at LifePixel, very knowledgeable peoplefuturefood
- Thanks that’s helpful, I think I might start with stills and get one of my old 5D Mkii’s converted. I have been meaning to do it for astrophotography anyhow.slappy
- When did you shoot this? How did you know where to look?utopian
- @utopian, These were shot on April 21 at 11:46:15am. How did I know where to look? I sort of don't know where to look.futurefood
- All the images I'm producing are based off of the theory that the UAP researcher I work with has created.futurefood
- He predicted that these objects are attracted to anything flying in the air.
Helicopters, Airliners, birds, kites...etc.futurefood - I'll create a post with a small tutorial with my approach on how to photograph these objects. If you are familiar with a camera, the better. But you can...futurefood
- use any camera. People are even using their phones to record these things.futurefood
- @Slappy IR Astrophotography is so much fun, I am starting to get some great footagefuturefood
- For really dim objects I think full range is the way forward. I'm excited to see what I can get on my 10" Dob.slappy
- You should upload and post your videos and process on Youtube.utopian
- ^When I get the extra time, that is eventually where I want to share these images and footage. Right now, I'm trying to collect as much data as possiblefuturefood
- It's a bird. How can you not see it?robthelad
- Also captured our typical fast-movers.

- Is it a non-human scout uap or a giant jawbreaker in excalibur cosplayprophetone

- "AI enhanced"
Expected nothing less from utopian :))******** - < this looks like an eclipse seen through the clouds, nothing to see here, let's move on********
- Wow, you really do know everything about nothing. You're like a modern-day Einstein—if Einstein had flunked out of a cereal box quiz.utopian

Knapp and Corbell released this. Its source is military and it’s shot from above. there’s an episode on it in the link.Morning_star - Oh yes let's believe some podcasters who make a living out of the engagement of dumb people on their videos :))********
- < this didn't appeared on the "public official gov list" of tracked uaps BECAUSE IS FAKE********
- Dig that hole brother. I’m not saying it’s a UFO but it is definitely NOT a solar eclipse. And BTW to say ‘some podcasters’ is just ignorant and lazy.Morning_star
- Yes, some podcasters that you actually seem to believe without any sort of actual proof rather than an "AI enhanced" vid :))
Amazing.******** - < this video is just a "believe me bro" vid without any actual proof, I've watched it a few times, you must be nuts to go with this********
- I just love how that idiot Corbell tries to explain how they edited the video and "enhanced" it
It's laughable for a photographer to buy that******** - Also read the damn comments of the video, nobody is buying this crap, especially coming from this Corbell muppet :))********
- Here a comment********
- "@charliebassplayer

because it's probably zoomed in footage of a solar eclipse. The more you zoom in, the less resolution you get because the image is******** - "@cjhandly6159

Thank you for reporting seriously on this without giggles."******** - I don't think anyone here cares about your opinion grafician********
- Who are you again? :)
Another second hand account?******** - Who are YOU?monospaced
- You ask this as if you’re somebody. It’s fucking hilarious.monospaced
- ********-16
- This your ufo utopian?
Btw this is some actual footage from a normal eclipse seen through the clouds like I said
It's almost identical to your video******** - I think your confidence is inversely proportionate to your accuracy. Try harder.Morning_star
- Grafician is blind********
- If you can't clearly pattern match that...
LOL no wonder people freaking out about AI taking jobs, ppl are really that dumb******** - Chop off that neck beard for a better view sheep herder.utopian
- The current best guess explanation (other than a UFO) from the nerd-o-sphere is that it's a lens artifact/flare. Which after reading far too much physics...Morning_star
- ...seems plausible.Morning_star
- So that is also your opinion as a photographer?********
- That's just my opinion. Not sure why you think 'photographer' is relevant. I'm no expert in military optics.Morning_star
- Oh wait, you really believed that idiot Corbell that the video was from military
*facepalm********* - As you are so certain about it's validity perhaps it would be better for you to ignore me and my fanciful opinions. Have a nice day.Morning_star

I'm sure I saw a film about this once...
"An ice core that may be older than 1.5 million years has arrived in the UK where scientists will melt it to unlock vital information..."

- Shooting at 1/3200th of a second, almost nothing should be streaking.futurefood
- futurefood6
- But can it alert me if raccoons are trying to get into my garbage cans in the corner of the yard?prophetone
- Haha Yes, within 10 miles!
Not only can it identify raccoons, but also focus microwaves to cook internal organs. Yum!futurefood - Well that is excellent newsprophetone
- great, but couldn't find how muchBeeswax
- 'Not Cheap' I'd wager.Nairn
- lol I don't think it's available for civilian use,
I imagine it's in the $200k - $300k range based on how you configure the set upfuturefood - It's their version of a small, portable radar system. Can be deployed off the back of a pick up truck.futurefood
- Large airports have some insane radar tech, but most municipal airports tend to use these smaller systems.futurefood
- If you have ever been near an airport, you have most likely been tagged by one of these.futurefood
- futurefood9
- Is that a flying sphincter?canoe
- ^interesting. I do call my camera,
The Fister.futurefood - HAcanoe

- ^Thanks man! Lots of weird stuff where your eyes don't gofuturefood
- You saw a fucking twinkle in the sky. Wow.monospaced
- A twinkle, a UFO, UTI whatever it was, just the fact I caught it a fleeting moment is interesting. I hope you can appreciate that.futurefood
- Want to clarify, I only saw a plane fly through camera frame during shooting.
I have not yet seen these objects visually during capture...futurefood - I only find them in post after carefully studying each image. This applies to everything I’ve presented so far.futurefood
- nobody can say for sure what you're seeing. cool stuff. respect.renderedred

- satellites? space station?_niko
- They move like that?Raybandana
- Nice footage! Mind if I ask the location?
Also, which imgur link was succesful?
I have been creating low res gifs to make it easy to share here on qbn...futurefood - but if there is an easy way to share a mp4/video upload, that would be great.futurefood
- Northern Ontario, no easier way to share i know ofRaybandana
- No satellites move like this.utopian
- Cool!canoe
- Hard to tell without a reference point if it’s moving like that or if it’s your shaky camerawork but if you use that star in the middle as a guide, you’ll see i_niko
- Its your shaky hand and it’s just a satellite_niko
- Yeah, first glance I saw curves and wondered WTF?, second watch it's all straight lines and satellitesNairn
- OMG! A drunk pixel!!Gabriel
- Yea I think its a bit of camera shakiness... but saw one come down and then shoot back up into the sky, phone was dead by then.Raybandana

Wanted to share these two youtube channels. These channels have heavily inspired my interest in photographing UAP.
In the video below, shot 11 years ago, he is searching for some other objects, but he did not realize he actually captured 2 fast-movers. Rods? Orbs? The doctor I work with calls them Dragons. This guy was using similar techniques to photograph UAP more than 10 years before I started to. Techniques that I'll outline in an upcoming post.
Here is an interpolation of a portion of the video. This image displays the 2 object's trajectory through the sky.
The objects appear @ 0:08 seconds. While in youtube, play until time mark (0:08) then press 'k' on keyboard. Use your < > keys to advance forward/backward one frame at a time, you will spot the objects in motion
"the hell is zhat?" Still makes me laugh..
In this video, he had his camera converted to full spectrum and is using a 1000nm filter to capture some objects_____
This is a friend of the doctor I work with, he plays an important role in aviation here in southern California and has some great presentations on youtube.
This guy photographed an object flying over the San Gabriel mountains near his home. It is not the first time people have witnessed objects in this area. Just north on the other side of this mountain range is Edward's Air Force base
