erase all EXIF

upload it to Flickr and then download it again. Flickr strips out all the EXIF and saves it in a separate place (so the users can choose to share it or not).

Thanks for the input, I'd hate for a perfectly good kidnapping to be foiled by some silly metadata

so you can show SOME meta-data, like your copyright, but not the camera-settings..

cant you just read the EXIF data by -
right-clicking a jpeg > properties > detailsand by this means you can check if its erased the exif or not. good should on the photoshop metadata none stuff vaxorcist, good to know.

In Photoshop, go to File->Save for Web & Devices and make sure that “Metadata” is set to “None”
Minimize EXIF in Lightroom by checking “Minimize Embedded Metadata” while exporting an image.

in Photoshop® when you use the Save for Web & Devices feature and make a JPEG, PNG or GIF im pretty sure that it erases the EXIF data as well.

I want to erase ALL the EXIF data from a few jpgs I'm about to deliver. Is there a utillity to do this, and how do I check to make sure it's all gone?
