hard to beat shaw's pricing on advertised speed and bandwidth.
these folks are a more business-oriented provider, so likely better quality of service, less oversubscription, static IP, etc:
http://www.skywaywest.com/rates/…not cheap though.

i'd recommend Shaw, decent speeds and never had a warning from them re. my usage.
but their customer service is absolutely horrible, expect 20-30min waits when you gotta call for tech support.
telus has all my phone accounts. they don't need my internet. too many eggs in one basket.
- pro tip: go to the shaw store, 5min wait and you can look them in the eyes while they fuck you.monNom

Shaw sucks. You have bandwidth limits and they are in favor of charging 2 bucks per gigabyte if you break the bandwidth limit.
Plus if they see you use quite a bit of bandwidth they simply slow down you connection. Some people have recommeneded TechSavvy. http://teksavvy.com/en/default.a…
They don't really screw you over bandwidth limits and shit.

^ Agree
Shaw scams you, if you don't want their cable or phone then they jack your internet rate because that's the only service you want from them. I realized they were charging me $50 a month for standard Internet if that's all you want from them.

I think I'm sold – TekSavvy it is!

Teksavvy increased by download cap to 300gb two weeks ago, following the UBB debacle.
