hey anybody have any idea how i can download all the linked files on a page (js, css, images), maintaining the site file structure?
we're building some additional static pages for a heavily content managed site and need to keep all the links "absolute relative" (ie.site.com /category /category2 /public_html /style /layout.css). we need to rebuild the directory structure of the entry page (delivered by cms) on the testing server to make sure it all works when it's switched live... i could do it manually, but it's a massive site, so files from different folders all over the place.

If you're on a mac you could try SiteSucker. I haven't used it for overly complicated sites but it seems to do the job when I need it to.

if you are using firefox, just save the page on your desktop, it will keep all the associated assets

Just last week I was redesigning a site and one of the pages had 400 linking PDFs on it. I used the FireFox plug in "DownThem! All" to download everything at once. Here's a link: http://www.downthemall.net/
- That plug in will download every linking file on the page, or specific file types.oktalk

Do you just need the structure, or do you need the content as well?
