You may have seen that sun has moved in to a phase of increased activity. This means more solar flares, some of them potentially disruptive and potentially destructive to our communications systems. That said...

Haven't we already weathered some large, duck and cover, kiss your communications goodbye flares in the last year or two.
I haven't noticed anything yet with this "increased activity phase" other than blogs and journalists telling us to "watch out" and then nothing happens.
Also, when are those damn poles gonna reverse and disable everything? Again, been hearing this since was a kid.
