I'm about to undertake a big project - and my music collection is a little tired(as i have thrashed it)...i have a broad taste - but mostly i like creating to electronica(as i find lyrics disrupt my flow) - but don't mind rocking out from time to time(as it is necessary from time to time!)
i'm not interested in listening to popular radio music - simply because it sucks - i wanna be challenged, inspired, surprised, moved, euphoric yada yada...you get it..what gets you stoked and in the zen moment.
thanking you in advance...i'll start the ball rolling, tracks, albums, artists that have recently spun my wheels :
mogwai - how to be a werewolf
twin shadow - castles in the snow
die die die - we build our own oppressors (yeeeaaah go the kiwi boys from dunedin!)
optimus gryme - submerged (another kiwi - my god we kick ass!)
underworld - scribble
the roots - how i got you(album)
the chemical bros - further(album) (i have forgiven them for writing the Salmon Dance track)
Telefon Tel Aviv -Map of What is Effortless(album)
The Cinematic Orchestra - ma fleur(album)
passion pit - manners(album)
kid kudi - man on the moon(album)
Flying Lotus - Cosmogramma (album)anyways enough about that..its not about me but the music....and yours?
