You may have already, but you might want to absorb as much as possible about other turnkey solutions like all those PSD --> HTML things out there.
You're talking about something that sounds like a real fast turnkey solution. How do those other fast and cheap services operate and make money?
(wild guess: teams of cheap development labor)

I'm sure a big part of it is also just streamlining the process. I understand what insomnie is saying cause I used to work with EE a lot and after a while had some templates set up where I could pretty much throw any code in and instantly have a functional site. Of course this doesn't take into account whatever specific demands each client needs.

Sounds like a great way to burn yourself out real quickly.

charge more, and make sure any site submitted is reviewed by you personally. this way you avoid what some others said about having to turn over a 500 page site.
or even worse, what if you get a site that is coded like shit and is just an overall headache to work with?
maybe you provide a cheap $600 tier for super simple sites, but your "recommended service" is something like $999 with a week turn around etc? if you tier the prices, you will probably be better positioned for a variety of work.

hhhhmmm.....
you're going to run into lots of sites that have had a series of hacked-out add-ons done by a series of burned out people who are no longer around, so a few of the pages will be easily turned into a CMS, but a lot of the pages will be spaghetti and not predictable or part of anything you can easily put into a system....

Good idea. Had a similar thought once, though with a turnaround of 7 days. Definitely would need to review applications, have a pretty strict list of functionality & pricing -- anything bespoke = $$$.
Either way, I reckon it'd take off. Especially if marketed as more of a high-end service, clean code, attention to details etc. rather then just cheap outsourced labour.

I'd have the turnaround as 5 business days. Charge more for faster turnarounds.
As others have rightly said, if this does go well for you, you'll need to be prepared for volumes of work so I'd bear that in mind. You can raise prices to keep it a high quality, lower volume business or source developers in a cheaper labour market which may effect quality.

awesome... just get the business, outsource to these guys.
xhtmlchop.compocket $200 for just sending a few emails.

Does someone who only wants to spend $500 on their web presence need a CMS?
Nope
