Hi,
Just a quick one... working on some illustrations on illustrator but when I click my mouse the point doesnt always appear where my cursor is...Its almost as if its jumping to a grid?!?
Any ideas guys?I'm pulling my hair out....

do you have the grid turned on and snap to grid? or pixel preview and snap to pixel?

I have recently had this problem with my Photoshop. I know exactly what is happening... however have not had any way of correctly it apart from resetting the program. Its massively annoying when trying to cut out images or trace paths and you are guessing where to place the anchor points.
- But I will check ESKEMA's snap tos next time if it randomly happens again.NickInfozure

^^that problem I had too with photoshop, the mouse gets shifted some pixels to the side of the pointer, you can go around it by switching views clicking F.
- I'll try this too next time. Don't remember it fixing it though. Fingers crossed.NickInfozure

CS5 by default has snap to Grid on in multiple places.
I've fixed it in mine but forgot how. There are a few places you have to change it.
Have a Google for Illustrator CS5 pixel grid.
Someone did post the method for fixing it on QBN as well.
