Some context: this site is made to act as a supplement to my CV, it hosts academic and non academic work alike.
It's just coming up to completion now, there are a few sections lacking content, notably the 'About' section, but otherwise it's about there.
If you have a minute, I'd be mucho grateful for a bit of feedback/bug spotting before I make this thing live. Thank You
It runs on Сargo, shh.
Perhaps more context is in order? What sort of job are you looking for here - architecture, ID, photo? I do like the abstract logo thing.
I completed a Civil Engineering degree a couple of years ago, but I'm looking to go into architecture. This is what I would explain in the About section to establish context. But, I wonder if the context needs to be spread further around the site, for a stronger impression?. I'd hate for it to detriment the minimalism, though!
Thanks for taking a look and getting the ball rolling.
I guess it's always a challenge when you are starting out. However, I do get the impression from your site that you have an eye for design.
BTW, in Photography, image #17 is broken.
Great, that's the impression I'm hoping to convey. Especially since I lack any great deal of real architectural work. Thank you for the encouraging comments.
Image 17 should be fixed now.
i like what you did with that bottom gif in animations.
Thanks, I intend to blend it in further by removing the white bg. I hope it doesn't spoil it for you!
I liked the animated border collie running. but didn't want to post it here since it's coming from your drop box. might not want to run the images off your drop box—a bit cheapie way to do things outside of this thread.
I would have hosted it with Сargo, but it kept loading it static, so I copped out and stuck it on the db.
Aside from fixing the Сargo issue, where could I host the image more properly? For free? 'a bit cheapie'?
- question of the dayjaylarson
- Can I host it on your flickr? Lol. Nice pics, though.PeterPancake
- you should be able to use flickrbetelgeuse
- Flickr > Dropbox ?PeterPancake
- Free account doesn't allow it since gifs are stored in inaccessible 'original size'.PeterPancake
- Quest for free hosting continues...PeterPancake
