Looking to project a logo onto a wall with a ceiling mounted spotlight. Anyone ever do anything like that?
Not sure what to search for to find such a thing.

well, in theater, they are called "gobos". I would google that to begin with and see if it is what you are looking for

Gobo. We do them ALL THE TIME.
Glass gobos allow for screen accurate art, but they're pricey.
Metal gobos are cheaper, but since the artwork is cut into a sheet, it must have that "stencil" effect in order to work.- Glass also allows full color reproduction, whereas metal are monochromemonospaced

There's an optometrist in Park Slope that projects his/her logo onto the sidewalk at night (it's an eye chart or something), it constantly spins.

gobo has multiple meanings to people in stage lighting, photo, film/video lighting,etc... try a stage lighting place first...
