Yeah. And not only for a month or two... FOR EVER!
> What happend?
I have a tumblr blog featuring COTD pictures... And I put a Paypal button on my page to get donations. Huge mistake, I've learned that in the agreement that no one read when you suscribe for a Paypal account, it says that you won't use it for any nudity or porn related stuff. BAM! Iam banned. For life.I can't no longer use eBay or buy anything that are selling using Paypal.
> Why dont you open a new account?
Impossible. Only way is to have a new credit card associated to another adress. And since Iam not planning to move soon, I cant do that.I called them, they told me I can't erase any personal info from their server. They are keeping my personal info locked down.
ANY HELP?
:D

You would have to go to a paying service like
authorize.netThe problem is the competition that was coming out against PayPal got shut down (out of business). Paypal can't have competition you know.
What if you have your gf or someone set up an account?

Paypal is strict as hell.

i'll let you use my address for your new credit card.

You've got Julian Assange street cred now tho.

Wow, that is some harsh treatment from Paypal. And troubling because they are one of the few services out there - the only one really, that is universally used. You want services like these to be neutral the way Google seems to be, and not act like the fucking morality police.

God forbid anyone look at an actual human body. Oh the horror

i put something on ebay then got hospitalized. when i came out i discovered wthat whoever won filed a claim against me which resulted in me getting banned for life from paypal as well. tried contacting the auction winner, ebay, AND paypal and not one of them would help, or even respond, SO FUCKED UP.

they also seem to have a monopoly on the whole internet transaction thing, which fucks you out of all kinds of different things online

at least a warning would have been fair, no?
- for something hidden in TOS like thatscenek

- Chances are you are not talking to the right person. Call and do not get off the phone, continue with new questions.manonthestreet

The problem of opening a new account is when they verify the credit card, they see the adress associated to it. And its impossible to get a new credit card associated to another adress, i think.
I dont know what to do. I know it will hurt when i will want to buy something on a website that only use Paypal. Or next time i want to buy something on eBay, wich is a couple time a year.
- pinkfloyd0
I didn't know paypal also takes 3% when someone sends you money. Seems a bit steep.

Actually isn't Google Checkout a viable alternative?
- The most common one I mean. Unfortunately most people still offer Paypal.********
- not when the site ONLY accepts paypalscarabin

Try this as a last resort... delete all your pictures on your porn site. Replace them with other photos. Then write Paypal and tell them that they've banned you for reasons unknown to you. When they re-look up your site and find pictures of non-porn. They realize that they've made a huge mistake.

What about when you move? They don't have the resources to really check your identity.
There are probably hundreds of benfal99s in the world. So once you get a new address, they won't be able to do shit.

That's harsh for the content on your site, they should have at least given a warning and refused the site, not ban for life.
