Just wondering what is the best method of creating nice smooth animated gifs? (Or will they always tend to look a little choppy?) I need to create one for a site with a piece of type that simply flips.
My first few attempts were pretty choppy and pathetic. Any useful hints or tips on keeping them smooth?
Cheers!

yeah cool thanks, but still just looks a little choppy, are there any ways of creating a smoother effect? by adding more frames?

the choppiness may come from system performance, you can set the delay lower than .1 as i had done in my example for faster transitions and more frames may make it smoother but also may slow it down

More frames = smoother = larger file size
Less frame = choppier = lower file size

which browser you use makes a big difference, also how many windows or tabs you have running and cpu...
