how long has your mate been married? and why don't you care?

from what i've read, the physics on the move is the best, the other two are too buggy and inaccurate.

I played a few Kinect games recently and was impressed with the over all accuracy. There were times playing Soccer when I reacted quicker than what the game could reflect, so I had to slow myself down to do certain things at times. It was pretty fun tho. And the best part as not having to hold any controllers.

@aanderton,
good to get info from someone who has both. Yeh im hoping the kinect will release more games and with microsoft backing it, its almost for certain it will get big and do well.
Have you found your kinect unresponsive / slow at all like some people say?
thanks mate :)

i have all 3 game systems, but i will not buy a move or a kinect any time soon.
wii is waaay more kid and family friendly.
move will have better graphics but, like you said will probably be more hardcore. however, if they don't have the system yet, a ps3 has the added bonus of bluray.
kinect is super lame right now. it only has like 2 decent games.
i'd say go for the wii

She wants it to be fun for herself and her husband (less important) and her kids who are 5 and 8.
Wii

if you get a move or kinect make sure you have a livingroom with lots of space, they're finnicky about your setup

The wii plus "sports resort" pack is way better than the old sports one.

The wii gets bloody expensive considering it's branded as a bargain.
£34 per wii remote plus controlle. Then it's £14 for the nunchuck.
I know you don't need the nunchuck for all games. So it's £98 for 2 full controller sets. Forget that!

I think the plan is get her to test it out in a shop with her youngest and see if tracks him/see how responsive it is.
I hope it works, I think kinect is a better option.
No controllers needed, better tech, future proof etc.
Just hoping they release some More family games.

interesting article about kids under 40 inches / 3.3 feet not being able to be tracked accurately by the kinect system.
maybe the kinect isnt for kids!

kids grow up and will want real games by the time they're 9, get a ps3, it even has the blu ray for the parents to watch new hd porn on
