What about just a type treatment? Not sure the logo marks are working...

I'm minded of impoverished towns in the south of Spain in the late 80s and seeing homespun branding attempts painted clumsily onto whitewashed walls.

from a non-designers perspective, i like #4

#4 reflects the type of interior design work she does and IMO a nice mark.

I'm not sure these are working. I think you are getting to caught up in the V and B.
What other symbols could you use? Modern flower, star, furniture?
What about a stylized V with a nice type treatment?
Another note I think 4 has the most potential out of that group.

- Agreed. Maybe have a symbol/logo accompanied with strong type treamtment for Virgina B Interior Designinstrmntl

fourth photo down - yeah, i have that furniture. wish i could go back and tell my past self that buying it is gonna be a bad decision. it was hard enough to keep clean- but now i've got 2 kids that cover the thing in drool and other liquids - now the furniture looks like it has skin cancer...
and my favorite mark is the 4th one down- but without the "VB" and then justifying the text

- Nice, for a heavy metal band - possibly just the sharp edges, needs to be a little more elegant imomatnz

To be honest they all look amateurish...

Keep it simple

1) There are way too many competing elements in your logos.
2) It still looks like a salon shampoo logo, as previously stated.

I would suggest adjusting the name. The "B" is what seems to fuck it all up. If you spelled out her last name, or just had her last name, I would feel like I'd want to take her seriously and pay her money to get my living room did, as opposed to getting my hair did.

I would also suggest taking this off the illustrator grid and onto the sketchbook. You're snapping to the grid too much which is making it feel cold and masculine. Also, if you must have "interior design" then there can only be one other element. Three elements makes an unholy trifecta for logos.

Also, based on her photos, I'm getting more of an organic feel for her work than the logos seem to be conveying. It might be the woods she uses but it feels sort of danish modern.
