Why wouldnt people just load their old Beatles CDs into their iTunes library? It still allows you to do this right?
- I don't get this as well. What's so freaking hard about this?marychain

Years from now, your grandchildren will ask you, "Granpa, where were you when The Beatles were made available on iTunes?" And you'll say, "I was on my fucking computer. Same as every other day."

I'm glad new technology keeps coming out so we have to buy everything all over again. This Beatles on iTunes is just a reminder of that. We at Apple know you have them on vinyl, and 8traks, and cassettes, and cd's, and an interactive dvd, but you don't have the mp3s. Pay up bitches!
- instrmntl0
Wow, that was it, the freaking Beatles?!
- Raniator0
Yeah but they said it would be a day I'd never forget. That is a big fucking claim. And I get music from a band which I don't really give shit about, but still already own 75% of their stuff.
Even all this cloud shit people are going on about would be more interesting than the Beatles on iTunes, and I don't even know what this cloud stuff is...

There are seriously a lot of worked up people here. I mean let's think about this. Apple is a business, and they need to market new items. So they got the beatles music. They are not just going to sit around and hope people find it. Every business does this shit in some way. I can't believe people here are so fucking worked up.
I don't really think apple created as much hype as half the people on this site.
- i am so worked up, i am going out right now and getting myself a gun, a semi automatic gunautoflavour
- shoot me first! please!capn_ron
- Think? I'm more interested in reading people who defend the ridiculousness that was marketed as lifechanging. ...butPeter
- ...not as interesting as the people who believed it actually would be lifechanging to begin with. Today I have chuckled.Peter

The stupid thing about this, is that outside of the music industry nobody understands WHY the Beatles music is not already for sale digitally. Furthermore, I'm not sure anyone cares.
They've made a massive industry in-joke, which nobody else gets.

I'm really proud of myself for being right on this one. It's not often I'm right. Most people have me correctly pegged as a complete loser.
But I was right on this one!
*goes over to "how would you kill yourself" thread...

I thought it was going to be the Beatles... but then I got swayed and somewhat happy about the "cloud" music idea... for all of this Apple I say, Fuck you.
