A friend of mine had an infestation in his apartment and it ruined his life for a while. Tried everything to get rid of them sprayed the place many times, even had to destroy all his furniture and burn his stuff and leave his important documents and books in plastic bags in the sun to kill them. Was covered in bites and sores so didn't want to go out in public, and couldn't get work or sex cause he looked like he had a contagious skin disease. He eventually had to move out. No one wanted to stay or visit his place in case they hitched a ride with them.
Evil things, avoid at all costs!

If you gotta be a bug, what better place to live than in a bed?

I got them a few years back living in a cheap ass building in brooklyn...big mistake.
- Needed a new mattress and sofa after i moved out
- cleaned every corner of my furniture with a qtip and disinfectant
- had to wash my clothes 4 or 5 times to be sure they were "dead"
- Lost so much sleep, they kept me on edge all night
- had to hid bites from co-workers, dates, i felt like i was a monsterAnd there really is no way to even begin to tackle an infestation unless an entire building bands together, which was not the case for us - the entire building was filled with illegal immigrants that never rang bells in fear of being deported.
To ice the cake...my landlord asks "how can i keep you as a tenant for another year?"...i told him "burn your shit building to the ground, and call me when you have a new structure, then we'll talk."
- you wanted to kill all the immigrants in a building fire?!!?!microkorg
