For the song I wrote about a day in my life I created this video about a day in my life, shot and edited on November 2nd using iMovie on iPhone 4
Let me know what you think! Thanks for your time :)

You know what?
I usually respond things like "Great video, but the song sucks".
I'm watching your stuff right now and I think the song is great, and the video works great with it, I mean technical specs aside, I think you did a great job man.
- pango0

song: not bad.
- emilkorngold0
Thanks! I'm no video editor nor do I have software for it so no clue on how to stabilize it unfortunately. Sorry for making you dizzy ;)

yay! holland.
get yourself a gopro, strap it to your chest and reshoot :)
- pango0
hummm... i guess cellphone full HD's quality still isn't quite there yet.
did you do everything on iPhone? damn i need to get one. my cellphone has only 0.1 Mp and 16 bit colours lol
good work for someone who has no experience on editing. i need to get onto video. it seems fun.
- mikotondria30
Nicely done :)
As someone who's worked at home for many years, I couldn't help be slightly envious of someone who gets a cool Dutch bus and train to work in Rotterdam. Dutch girls, graffiti - loads of inspiration before you even sit down..

Everything was done straight from iPhone. Shooting video, photos, editing, exporting to 720p and publishing to YouTube (at home because uploading the HD version only works over wifi)
I should've so done this movie today because my train ride was far more spectacular. I met a beat up Marocan guy who looked like he came running of the Fight Club set saying he got molested by three guys in Gouda. His left eye was swollen and under his right there was a one inch cut bleeding heavily. Shocking to say the least. He told me it looked far worse then it actualy was. He didn't convince me. Cut like that will leave an ugly scar when he doesn't get it stitched properly.

I like it...nice work!
- emilkorngold0
@dbloc the only app I used was iMovie. It does it all; choose a titles theme, shoot video and photo's (or import them from your camera roll), place them on a timeline, edit video (non)destructively, apply simple transitions between scenes, apply Ken Burns effect to photos, add music from your iPod library, keep or mute video audio and finally export to up to 720p. The only thing you do from camera roll is publish to YouTube.

- kidding this would be good enough. http://www.wired.com…pango
- don't listen to me!pango
- emilkorngold0
wow... that looks awesome, but I would never fit in a train or bus seat with that contrapment strapped around my body. Is it the gopro whereRI mentioned?
- pango0
nop. gopro is pocket sized. and better HD than iphone.
would be perfect for what you are doing.
if you mount it on your helmet, it gives a better POV shots i imaging.

Thanks for the info and pics. Looks like a real nice gadget. Would rather buy more music gear for that money though...
Speaking of music; if you appreciate the song in the video and would like to hear more of my tunes, please visit http://soundcloud.com/clublimemu… and give it a spin.
