I have an idea! Have you considered storing cameras around your neck? It may help in getting some shots taken.

I go through phases... gear on table all in a pile, then categorized carefully and put in 4 bags... I have LOTS of little things like cables, radio triggers, adapters, chargers and lots of oddball light modifiers.... and looking for them in the middle of a shoot sucks
Then I end up just putting fragile or stuff I may want to later sell in ziplock bags and using a couple of suitcase-like rolling cases + a shoulder sling for lightstands and softboxes...
If I'm travelling light, I carry a nike baseball bat bag and put the stands and umbrellas in that...
I did work with a guy who kept all his lightstands in a golf case...airlines let it on without weighing it too....
I did know a guy who put his stuff in zero haliburton cases, then put those in cheap thrift store suitcases to make it look cheap when travelling
- leaning towards a plain old roller suitcase now.... the photo cases seem to break wheels too easilyvaxorcist

I keep all my gear in my camera bag, in my closet.
