Dreamweaver Help (CS3) Going Bonkers!

Hello - I need help with DW CS3 as it pertains to setting up websites.
I had everything working fine for years until I moved the local files and did not update the links.
Then began all kinds of trouble with the LOCAL ROOT FOLDER, DEFAULT IMAGES FOLDER and SITE MAP LAYOUT.
Although I have re-chosen, re-selected, started over, etc. I continue to get these errors:
"WARNING: The file selected is not within the current site's local root folder. The site map cannot be built"
and
"WARNING: The Images folder is not inside the site."
and
"WARNING: The selected folder does not contain the current site's home page. The site map cannot be built"I continue to get these even after I re-do it all.
Also, in the FILES window, the Local Files DOES NOT SHOW the images folder.I'm going nuts. Anyone know what I've done wrong? Thanks.

I'm not following you...
When it asks to define the site.. I browse the the correct folder... and same for the Images folder and "home" file.

I've done that. Edited the site. Gone to local info and selected the root folder, the images folder.... Site Map Layout and selected the home page file.... everything appears to be correct. But I get the errors.
