How can I turn off the option that allows obects to be highlighted when you hover over it with your cursor?
Anyone?
ps. Already turned off everything in "cursor and gesture options" in Preferences>Interface.

From everything I've read, you cannot. But if anyone knows a way, I would love to know too! Doesn't bother me as much now as it did when I first installed CS5, but I've just gotten used to it. It can be a little annoying to select the right box sometimes, when elements overlap.

Why would you want to turn it off, doesn't bother me (anymore)...
- My first gripe was purely visual, but I got used to that (mostly). My real gripe now is how difficult it makes it to select the right box sometimes.duckofrubber
