Absolutely I agree, but for this logo I'm only supposed to be doing one variation, hence only changing the graphic for now.
Here's a slight variation of 5-8 with headphones to tie in with what they'll be selling: music, movies, games etc:
- I don't see headphones, I see antennae and wings.i_monk

I like the direction that was picked but i don't think the headphones read as headphones. I'm reading them more as antennae than headphones. Either you need the earbuds to be finessed or you should maybe change them to monitor-type headphones.

Actually I quite liked the way the headphones also looked like antennae / legs.

I like the other one. This is not scalable. Not to drive you crazy but since this is a lock-up you can put the headphone on the "o" in BEE.COM. I like the revision tho. Good work.

Why are you so stuck n the actual BEE? Have you tried other lements that might relate to the actual store/products? You can even add the bee as a compliment if you still want it... Maybe it's just me, but I think this could still have a few other options, idunno, like use the honeycomb to create a speaker, music notes, something..... btw, just my $0.02
